Welcome to my website.
My name is Mariah Kingdom.
I’m a student of human nature, fascinated by crime, and a writer of murder mysteries.
I live in a small East Yorkshire village close to the picturesque River Derwent.
My happy place is in Cornwall.
And when I’m not writing you’ll find me
In the garden.
Here’s a little more about me
I was born in Kingston Upon Hull,
birthplace of the abolitionist William Wilberforce
I need at least one mug of builder’s tea to get going in the morning
I love gardening so much I would pay to do it
I’m interested in genealogy and have traced my ancestry back to the late sixteenth century. My ancestors include a Huguenot refugee, an Oxford whitesmith, a 19th century London policeman, a Thames waterman and a German tailor
My home is in East Yorkshire, but my
happy place is in Cornwall
